> I am responding to another thread but have a different problem with launching the globe. I am running OSX 10.3.7 on iBook G3 700/384

>I am having a different problem with getting the visual to run. I have tried two ways to run it, the first gave me this message:

/Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc/projects/www.climateprediction.net/hadsm3data_4.03_powerpc-apple-darwin/viz/globe.rgb -bash: /Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc/projects/www.climateprediction.net/hadsm3data_4.03_powerpc-apple-darwin/viz/globe.rgb: Permission denied

The second, I dropped the boinc and cp folders in Terminal gave me this respone:

Kevin-Duls-Computer:/Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc kevindul$ cd /Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc/projects/www.climateprediction.net
Kevin-Duls-Computer:/Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc/projects/www.climateprediction.net kevindul$ ./viz
searching for active shmem
using model_id 2m8l_100143368
unable to attach to shared memory
./viz: line 2: 1010 Bus error nice -n18 ./hadsm3viz_4.03* $1
Kevin-Duls-Computer:/Volumes/Seagate 160G/Applications/boinc/projects/www.climateprediction.net kevindul$ /Volumes

Is there something that I am not doing to launch the globe? Thanks.
