The current instructions for running BOINC on a MAC seem to assume you're perfectly comfortable running it in a terminal window in the foreground for 3 weeks without ever shutting down your Mac. Can you please give instructions for people who would like to run it in the background where the terminal window can be closed and the Mac can be shutdown and restarted without terminating an experiment. If there is some reason why this can't be done could you add an explanation to the standard instructions and/or add some kind of qualifier that users must be willing to keep their Mac up for 3 weeks without shutting down and restarting.
