BOINC reporting not enough space but 2.75GB remaining on drive?

I re-installed Windows XP, and installed BOINC again but for some reason it keeps saying \"work is available but you don\'t have enough space allocated\" my preferences say use no more than 100gb, and I have 2.75gb left on my drive.
