It is just me or search engine is not working?

The standard BOINC search needs 5 to 6 characters to search, that may be what you are running into.

I just tested; 'climate' returned 3 threads 'clim' returned zero.

Searching only works on complete words, so searching on 'clim' now returns your post, John. And it should find this one too :)

I think Honza was referring to the MySQL error that searching used to generate before Carl fixed it.

No, i wasn't referfing to MySQL error but null results of search queue.

Well, seraching word with 5+ letter with no * option is very limited and in some case useless.
Words like 'THC', 'bug' etc. were frequently used in classic.
Also, searching for names like 'Carl' so that person can find where his name appears in post (typicaly question or some feeedback) is - again - limited.
