Since moving to BOINC from the classic experiment I seem to be getting a load more crashes than I used to. At least the last three simulations have all failed at various stages of the experiment. Presumably this means the work was lost.

Am I the only one getting this? I\'m using 4.45 of BOINC on Windows XP.

You will find plenty of reports of this if you do a search on 1073741819 in the questions and answers section. It is clearly some form of Windows conflict, so upgrading your drivers, especially graphics, and things like DVD utilities, are worth trying. But it has been very elusive.

The good news is that I have been able to run sulphur experiments successfully on both my machines that suffered from this. So if you can, allow BOINC to use at least 5GB of disk space in preferences and hope to capture one of those.
