I am new to BOINC, but already I can see that my climate prediction work unit will not complete by the deadline. Each project is set at 100% of resources and therefore with 6 projects running resource share is 16% each. How can I allocate more resource share to climate prediction so that I can complete work units prior to the deadline.

Thanks,

Dan

The deadlines are not set in concrete, so just continue. But if the model isn\'t returned within a resonable period, it may have become unimportant.

To increase a projects share, go to your Account page on that project, and select the pref that says: control resource share and customize graphics.
At the top, set: Resource share to a larger number; e.g. 150%.

With so many projects, it could be hit and miss to get it to the amount you want.
BOINC will attempt to shuffle the wu\'s until it works out how long each will take on your particular computer.
