Hi, 8 days ago my Windows system crashed after killing too many tasks in my taskmanager (only with ctrl+alt+del interrupted, not in registry). Since this time the other projects restarted fine, but CP has never work for me. Is this normal or should I check my system (delete all CP parts and add again). I don\'t want to do this because of the local BOINC statistics. J. |

Best possibility is probably to go to the Projects tab, highlight climateprediction.net, and do a reset. Hopefully that will get rid of whatever corrupted files you may have and start fresh with a new work unit. It shouldn\'t change your computer ID or affect the stats for that computer. |

Didn\'t help, but I found at Rosetta@Home forum: Not requesting new work or reporting results, means one of three things: - The computer has too much work on hand already to meet deadlines reliably. - The project has enough work on hand, and the computer is not desperate for work. - The project has used too much CPU time for its resource share recently and is blocked from requesting more for a while. - In all of these cases, the best thing to do is to leave it alone, and it will fetch more work when it is ready. Funny solution: Stop the other projects. CP starts itself with downloading. Believe, that I can resume the other jobs again. Thank you! |
