I seem to be having problems with the CPDN client crashing. Just tonight I got the following errors.

From CPDN - 6/24/2006 1:32:52 AM|climateprediction.net|Unrecoverable error for result hadcm3lbm_a0ad_05236200_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))

then from CPDN Seasonal Attribution - 6/24/2006 1:45:29 AM|CPDN Seasonal Attribution Project|Unrecoverable error for result hadam3h_a_030s3_2000_2000_3_1 (Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1))

These are the types of messages I get all the time. Is there any way to stop the clients from crashing.

Also, I\'ve been running Seasonal Attribution since the beginning and I have yet to get any credits because the client always crashes.

exit code -1073741819 is a well know error, which has been posted about everywhere. It\'s also mentioned in the Microsoft Knowledge Data Base.
It\'s a Windows \'stop\' error, and is associated with a graphics problem.
Any other program being run which uses a lot of graphics, or uses a lot of processing power can cause it. So it\'s recommended that BOINC be suspended before running the other program(s).
It may also be caused by out of date graphics drivers, so updating from the card maker\'s web site may help.

The other error: exit code 1, is usually caused by BOINC not getting time to shut down before Windows is shut down.

With TCMs using about 380Megs, and SAP using 700+ Megs, your computer is on the limits as it is, so starting something else as well may be the cause of the problems.

There are some hints and tips here.
