Anyone understanmd why the model I have been running since January suddenly completed when it was only about 2/3 completed last time I looked?

I hope that it didn\'t crash and get discarded after all that time!

If it did I don\'t think that I will commit more time and electricity to another long project!

Thanks.

You model HAS crashed, with the well known exit code 1073807364.
This is explained in the sticky near the top of the Windows posting list.

I ran 2 models on core 2 duo PC, but I have found that the second task disapeared.I can\'t see any message about the end of task. The task has approximately 13% completed. Is it possible to find the information what happened? Is it possible to set some settings to leave in BOINC client some information about end of task more than one day?

Get a 3rd party manager, like BOINCView, which keeps information forever. It also allows you to control more than one computer from a single spot, without having to log into each one seperately. Keeps some nice statistics for your own use, etc.

There is a log file (stdoutdae.txt) in c:\\program files\\boinc which will hold the relevant messages.

In addition to this the website holds a small amount of relevant information:

http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=6099291

Here we see that there\'s an exit code 0 mentioned. This is sometimes caused by killing Boinc via Task Manager, or windows killing it in some other manner (such as Windows shutdown).
I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.
