It is out of control, and seems to be hogging computer time while I am working. It is supposed to only run as a \"Screen Saver\", but interrupts the CPU every second or so.
I have Windows XP Pro V 5.1 SP 2

I don\'t understand and of the settings, and don\'t have time to get a degree in BIONICS. Can\'t you nerds see how the real world liiks at things?

I\'m uninstalling it now.

Hi Ray, welcome to the forum. Most of us disable the screensaver picture which slows down the crunching of the model and can cause the problems you mention. Instead, view your globe only when you have time for it by clicking the button in the boinc manager. To disable the screensaver

*right-click on desktop
*properties
*screensaver
*select None
