This is the first time that I have got this message with this work unit. then I got an error that says

\"Tue Apr 24 17:09:07 2007|climateprediction.net|[file_xfer] Temporarily failed upload of hadcm3inct_clre_1920_160_05863243_0_3.zip: http error\"

Now I get this error

Tue Apr 24 17:24:54 2007|climateprediction.net|[error] Error on file upload: can\'t write file /home/boinc/data/hadcm3inct_clre_1920_160_05863243_0_3.zip: No space left on device

Should I abort transfer or let it be?
The experiment is continuing to work and send trickles to the server.

Any answers would be appreciated.

You\'re suffering from multiple problems.

1) The one in the thread title is USUALLY harmless. In Windows, one of the causes is Windows adjusting the internal clock by using an internet time server.
If the time is set backwards, it confuses BOINC, and triggers that old, now unused, message.

2) & 3) The Oxford servers are suffering severe data overload, and need to (quite often), have some data moved. A new raid storage system is on the way.
See the News and Announcements section here.

Aborting the transfer will cause the data to be lost.
Aborting the model will cause the model to be lost.

Trickles will still be OK, because the trickle server is separate to the (overloaded) upload server.

Patience is the only cure.
