Hi Gundam, welcome to cpdn.

You seem to have got your first models today:

http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=669338

The bottom model there was downloaded to you first and crashed after about 12 hours. It probably didn\'t advance enough to reach the annual trickle which happens on 5 Dec of each model year. After the crash, you got a second model which seems to have crashed almost at once. You now have a third model (the top one on the list) but it hasn\'t been crunching long enough to reach its first trickle.

These cpdn workunits are very long compared with what members get from other projects, so certain precautions are necessary to keep the models safe. I recommend you should go to the link in my signature.

*In the README called Running the model, look at the top tips.

*In the README about avoiding model crashes, look at item #5 by Mike.

*When you have a model running stably, look at item #1 by Les about how to back up the contents of the boinc folder. So if you do have another model crash, you can restore the backup and continue with the same model.

*Your computer only has 384Mb RAM, but the minimum needed to run one model is 512Mb. To run cpdn without problems, I\'d advise adding extra memory if you possible can. This will improve the computer generally.

*I\'d advise disabling the screensaver because it slows down the model crunching. You can still see your globe when you want to using the View graphics button in your boinc manager.

If you need more advice about any of this, just post back. Hope that helps.

You are also under the minimum recommended memory for this project, which is 512. Your machine has 384. If you do not use the screen saver, you MIGHT be able to finish a CPDN unit, but more likely than not you will keep crashing them.
