Hi,

I\'ve been running Climate Prediction for a while now, and everything seemed fine until my work unit reached 72% and 500 hours on my Pentium 4 D with Windows XP.

Now, for the past 100 hours, the precentage has gone from 72.369% to 72.371% and back again, and the time to complete has gone up from 150 hours left to over 200 hours left.

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? Do I just need to give this one up and purge, after 600 hours of CPU time?

Thanks,

Becky Bell

It sounds like a \"looper\".
See the help post on Loopers in this README for more info.

I\'m currently running your UK Met ofc Slab SM3 5.06. I\'m stuck at 11.84 percent done. Three days ago I was looping on another model and I aborted and loaded this one, and now it is looping too. The post you referred to above does not seem to be up to date - I remember 5.08 vs 5.15 issues from many months ago. What\'s going on now, and what do advise? I defeinitely do not want to download another looper.

Regars,

Tom

The original slab models back in 2003-5 didn\'t loop, but some of the new ones do.
The reason is unknown, and the advice is the same as for the TCM loopers.

The only way to be sure of NOT getting another looper is to change to one of the other projects.
