I dont want the program to take up CPU if I was to play a game that requires alot of processor power. There should be a way to control CPU usage for the program when (X) CPU is taken up by other programs and when (X+10) cpu is taken up etc.

Hi,

The program runs at \'idle\' priority level, which means that it makes way for anything running at normal priority (such as games).

However, in order to avoid crashing the model, the recommendation is to right-click on the icon and select \'snooze\' before playing a game. Snooze pauses Boinc for an hour.

Or if you\'re a gaming addict who plays for hours, in the Activity menu of boinc manager select Suspend. But after the game you have to remember to start the model again.
