No work from project

Climateprediction.net keeps telling me that is deferring communication and that there is \'no work from project\'. So i tried to run another project (abcathome.com) and it just works fine. How often did you try and over how long a period of time? (A batch job, lately, runs four times daily against the data base to extract data for scientists to use. If you tried during one of those periods, you could get a \"http\" or \"connections failed\" error. An attempt in two or three hours should get through.) If not, please copy failure messages from the Messages tab in the boinc Manager and post them here. (There is a provision on the left of that page to copy all or selected messages. Is anyone else getting this issue? The only thing which caught my eye was the 9GB disk usage limit - this may cause problems in the future, although there is some headroom now. The maximum disk usage figure is for everything on the disk, whether Boinc or non-Boinc. So if you use the machine for anything else, and go over 9GB, then Boinc will start complaining about that. At the moment you have only used 3GB on the disk so not an immediate problem. ... Boinc manager downloads files but then doesn\'t go to work! The files it\'s downloading is the images used in the \'boinc simple view\' (just screenshots and similar), it hasn\'t downloaded any actual models yet. I\'d suggest leaving it over night and seeing what happens tomorrow. If anybody else reports this problem then we know it\'s a server-side issue, and Tolu or Milo can take a look at it on Monday morning. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. Nic\'s problem may well have something to do with the recent \"full\" problem. Perhaps a program failed to start again. In the meantime Nic, I\'d suggest that you go to the climateprediction.net preferences on your Account page, and select the type of model you\'d like to run.
