Since the beginning when I installed the climate client all (100%) of my results (5 so far) are listed in the Outcome column as \"Client error\".

I am running Vista 32-bit on a Dell dual core desktop with 2 gig of memory.

Is this common?

Is there anything I should check?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

The most common problem with Vista is that the Vista shutdown is very aggressive, and tends to just kill the models without waiting for them to shut down.

If you look at the \'Crashes and other problems\' readme (link in my signature), you\'ll find a Vista section which mentions how to adjust the shutdown process so that it doesn\'t simply kill everything running (the best approach being to right-click on Boinc and \'exit\' just before shutting down vista).

However, given that you\'re getting an error code 0x40010004, I\'d also suggest running without the screenaver (set to \'blank\'). The 40010004 error code is associated with closing down the graphics.

We\'d appreciate it if you were to post back saying whether these suggestions worked or not :-)

I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.
