The BONIC program downloading becomes extremely slow. It would have completed by the duration of 470 hours, but unfortunately I would expect that it will be completed by 520 hours or more.

Can this be sorted out?

\"Downloading\" is transferring the data files from the project server to your computer. This should take from a few minutes to an hour or so.
Are you saying that this is going to take 520 hours?

Or are you saying that creating the climate model is going to take 520 hours? (Which is about normal.)

Hi Gerald,

I\'m sorry, I don\'t entirely understand your question.

Are you referring to the \'estimated time to completion\' of a climate model running on the \'tasks\' tab, or is referring to a file being downloaded from the servers at Oxford on the \'transfers\' tab? Or does Boinc affect the speed that your computer downloads stuff from the internet?
