Last week I\'ve just finished a long WU that ran for almost a year. Now I have allowed it to download another WU, and this one is quite different. The application is called \'UK Met Office HadSM3 Slab Model 5.06\' (hadsm3fub_03l1_005930898_2).

It appears to run from 1810~2050, and it seems to run quite fast. After 4 days of running it has already completed 12.5%. However, when looking at the current processing year, I see that we are only in the middle of 1816 - that is hardly 12%!

Is it BOINC that is so completely off estimating the completion percentage? Or will it just get faster and faster towards the end...?

Just curious...

Well, it\'s not exactly obvious from the post title.
It\'s come up a few times in the last few months, and I\'m wondering if a \'sticky\' is in order.
Still, as long as I can find one of my replies .....
