Hi,

The \'pending\' credit is actually already counted in your normal credit figures, since CPDN doesn\'t use the \'pending\' mechanism. Ideally this should be hidden on the website to avoid confusion...

The \'readme\' files may be worth browsing through - the link is in my signature :-)

Thanks for your reply.

The problem I have is that since 15 days ago no update on the \'work done\' figures and the \'average work done\' figure is going down every day (!), but the project seems to be running normal.

FYI, I have another 2 projects running (SETI and WCG) and they seem to be running normal.

Thanks.

What you need to look at is the trickle_up_ files.
When one of these gets sent back to the server, it will be granted credit, although not straight away.

There is a message Reason: To send trickle-up message in the messages tab each time one is uploaded. (And the messages are archived in: stdoutdae.txt, which is in the BOINC folder.)

If these aren\'t being sent back, there are 4 possibilities:
1) You have a problem with accessing the net. (In which case the files are still on your computer.)
2) The model has rewound, and is starting again. (In which case, you\'ll get no more credit until it catches up with where it was.)
3) You\'ve restored from a backup. ( Same as in 2 above.)
4) The model has turned into an iceworld, and the processing has slowed down drastically. (There is a description of this here.)

I\'m sorry, but I\'m not a PC expert. I found the file stdoutdae.txt and I can send it to somebody that analyse and give me instructions how to fix my issue.

I have \'reseted\' the project and it downloaded another 2 projects.

Also I have detected that the \'total disk usage\' has almost duplicated during the last week, and the project accounts for 90% of it.

Thanks.

My guess would be that your slab model suffered from option #2 in Les\'s list (i.e. model 7314935 rewound at the end of phase 1). Slab models do sometime have problems if interrupted at the beginning of a phase.

The machine appears to be a laptop, and it may be that the crash - and other crashes - come from suspending the machine without first quitting BOINC manually. BOINC should be able to cope with starting and stopping, but in my experience a quick stop or a slow start can cause problems - so manually quitting and starting is better.

I \'detach\' and \'attached\' climateprediction. Has cleaned the \'total usage\' on the disk and is now waiting for getting new projects.

I\'ll keep you posted (probably in 24 hours, so it has time to recycle).

Thanks for your support.

Finally started counting again and update the \'work done\' figures... probably I have 15+ days of lost work!
