I´m sorry if this is written somewhere. I have really limited acces to internet now so i can´t check.
Yesterday i tried to upload completly computed WU ( 80 years model - 8 output files 15 MB each) but due to very slow upload i resigned after uploaded 50% of two first files. Today i checked my stats and suprisely this unit gave me 24000 credits. http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/workunit.php?wuid=6271906

Whats going on? Should i upload everything again at nearest opportunity? Isn´t it any way to cheat project? Will try to read this post tomorow...

Credit is awarded in increments when Trickles are uploaded, done periodically as the Run progresses.

The uploads at the end of the Run are necessary for the scientists to view all the data your machine produced. Your uploads are incomplete but boinc will continue the upload, from where it stopped, next time you connect. The CPDN server will sort the pieces together.

Edit: The upload can continue in several pieces if necessary. BOINC will manage it automatically whenever you make contact. You have 10 days, from first attempt to upload, to finish the process. After that, boinc stops making attempts.

But if by resigned, you mean that you Aborted the upload, then it won't continue.

Update:
As i'm seaman i compute WU on board of ship (offline) and in nearest possibility i upload it completly (no tickles in this time). I did it for few contracts already and always it worked fine. This is first time i canceled upload. Still will try to upload everything but honestly - i don't know when. For sure this data will be uploaded some day.
