I am running a task apparently without problems but I can not click the option \"Show graphics\". Am I the only one? Thanks for your help.

You appear to be running a rather old version of BOINC.
To see the graphics on all types of climate models, you now need a BOINC version of 6 \'something\'.
The current release version is 6.10.18

I have the same problem, I\'m running the tasks, but the \"show graphics\" button is disabled.

I\'m running boinc version 6.10.18

Funny enough is that I can see the graphics if I set my screensaver to boinc and I activate it.

How can I solve the problem?

Thank you very much

Did you first click on one of the models to select it?

Are you running in Protected Mode? This has also been known to not allow the viewing of the graphics.

I click on each model and none of them enables the button.

And I\'m running the app as admin of the computer.

Protected Mode happens when you install the software. It runs even if you are not logged in.

I have the same problem 2 years later with the latest download of BOINC.
Was it ever solved?
How do I know if I am running in protected mode?

The "problem" was/is purely an operator one.

"Protected mode" is the same as "a service".
This used to be shown, (in version 6), 5 lines from the start of the BOINC messages, as Running as a service, or Running under account ... for non-service mode.
I don't know what message is used with version 7 of BOINC.

So what do you do to make it work properly?

The programmer who worked on the graphics left the project several years ago, and no one has taken over that responsibility. None of the new models (wah2 hadcm3s) have working graphics, unfortunately.
