Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem Login on to: http://climateprediction.net/board/index.php

I am using Windows 7 OS

Login:

Username: XXXXXXXXX

Password: XXXXXXXXX

when I try to Log on I get the following:

The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account,

please contact a board administrator.

so when I click: ----> Resend activation e-mail <-----

I receive the following e mail:

follows:

so when I click on the above Link in the e mail --- to activate my account

I get the following Message Web Page:

The requested user does not exist
</quote>

what I have done to try to solve my problem:

I have read thru: FAQ ---- RE: problems Loging on

it says: if I am having having a problem Loging on to: http://climateprediction.net/board/index.php

please contact a board administrator

so I guess my question is:

how do I contact a board administrator?

I am using Windows 7 OS

thank you

Click on my username here and then on the "Send private message" link that shows up in my profile. PM me your exact username on the climateprediction.net forum and I'll see what I can do.

Also, if you don't have e-mail notification of PMs setup on this forum, please do so in your preferences so you will get notified when I reply.

It's a good idea for all CPDN members also to register on the independent forum. So if this forum is ever down you can still post about problems. Registration there is separate from this forum.

Please do check that you are using an up-to-date email address for your Boinc projects. And that you use the same one for every project you join. So if you have to change your email address for CPDN please change it for your other projects too.

thank you mo.v for this info.
