uploads over here cleared now.

We seem to have an upload problem. There are 3 zip files stuck in my transfer tab. Oddly, they seem to be zips 2,4 and 5. Zip 3 seems to have gone up. They may need to kick the box at the U of O.

"can't resolve hostname" is a failure of the DNS service on your local computer or network. Locate the upload url in your client_state.xml file, and try it in a browser address bar, or a ping or tracert command.

I too have pnw upload failures that give the same message for both zips 12 and 13 on 2 tasks.

It must be a server problem, but it may not be at Oxford.

Zips 1-12 go to U of Oregon, and zip 13, the restart data file, goes to U of Oxford.

Both 12 and 13 show http://boinc1.coas.oregonstate.edu/cpdn_cgi_main/file_upload_handler</upload_url

That server is not responding.

1) Oregon had a DNS failure, which was fixed while our servers were down.

2) There's a new policy to send ALL zips to the server being used by the researchers, thus reducing storage at Oxford.

Yup, I've quite a few ANZ zips not uploading. Same log as Lockleys showing problem with project servers.

I've emailed the UK staff, but it's a server in Australia (rwah0.rdsi.tpac.org.au) which seems to be offline, so it may take a while to pass the message on and get it seen to.

It's possible that there's a problem with the server.
But it's still the middle of the night, after the Early May bank
holiday, in the UK, so nothing will get done for half a day or so yet.

I presently have 2 zip files from the new California drought WU�s stuck in my transfer tab. I don�t know if this is a problem with the tasks themselves, the servers that they report to or a hold over from the recent database server outage.

All 19 zips (18 monthly interim uploads and the final restart dump) for these new PNW tasks are directed towards cpdn-upload2.oerc.ox.ac.uk (server 'aforgomon' at Oxford). I reported a reluctant one to the admins this morning, and was told that the server is running, but just very, very, busy.
