Sorry to ask this, I'm sure its been asked 4.5215 x 10^25 times, but how many times will the BOINC client attempt to upload a trickle before it deletes it and gives up? I hate to stop all network activity since I'm running a couple of programs that require an active internet connection, but I surely don't want to lose those trickles. |

Boinc There's no BOINC imposed limits on this, just your own patience and any ISP imposed network limits. |

If you look at the server status page 5th up from the bottom on the menu at the left of this page, you will see that cpdnupload2.oerc is red indicating that it isn't working. As it is a weekend, there won't be anyone in to look at this till 0900 Monday morning. GMT/UCT+1. When fixed there may well be transient upload errors for a while as the server will get overloaded by all the backed up uploads. |

I've seen that the server has gone out to lunch (after all, that's the first page that I'm checking whenever anything is going haywire) - however, I was wondering why the server has failed in the first place. |

Problems in the past have been hard disk failure in the raid array, power problems at Oxford Uni, disk filling up and server needing rebooting/script needing restarting among others. One thing that is guaranteed almost is that these things happen overnight or at weekends when no one is there to apply size 10 boot to the appropriate piece of hardware. Still it is office hours here in UK now so I am sure someone is looking at it. |

Problems as usual (EU-task): Zips 1..12 don't transfer at all. Zip 13 transfers to 100% and then do not finish. Please tell someone here in this thread when things are working normal again. Up till then I have to seperate CPND from the rest of BOINCData-folder to ensure that unnecessary uploads won't occur. |

Just looked on server page and uploader2.oerc is down again after briefly being up. the .13 zips go to a different server, can't remember which one. I am sure one of the admins will let the project people know that that server also has problems. |

As noted below, it is the .13 zips going to a different server that fail at 100%. I am afraid I can't offer any advice other than that I was regularly given by an army sergeant in a former incarnation so to speak, "Hurry up and wait!" |
