My browsers can't access this link - "View this result on results.cpdn.org".

I've had a lot of failed tasks recently, mainly HadCM3 short but also some others and wanted to look at the information provided at this link .

A lot of the failed tasks have uploaded trickles and zip files but not been granted any credit.

That link was to a separate site that stored the raw data from each model for the use of researchers. It required a separate login.
It was re-worked a couple of years ago, but since then, the philosophy of how cpdn handles data has changed. I don't know what happened to the site, or the data stored there.

Before, test data for new research projects was sent to Oxford for testing.
Then, when the research was turned over to this main site, all data was returned to Oxford for storage and archiving. The "results" site that you're looking for, made ALL data available to ALL researchers globally.

Now, data from this main site is going to servers at the research institutes associated with the submitting researchers. I don't think this is fully implemented yet, but data for the PNW models goes to a server in Oregon USA, and for the ANZ models to a big data centre in Hobart Tasmania, the southern most state of Australia. The data for the hadcm3s ("short") models goes to BADC.
None of this is available to the general public.

I'm not sure about the initial testing, but another part of the "new look cpdn", was/is for researchers to submit data sets directly to the download servers at Oxford.

As you can see from other threads, this part of the idea isn't working at all well at present.

As for lack of credits, this is talked about in one of the long threads in Number crunching, but you can get a short version of it in my post here.

Likewise -- makes some stuff clearer to me.

And I keep on crunching -- because -- makes sense to me. And I'm no fool :)

Cheap way to do something for the lousy planet (we are all just an itchy skin disease on this planet glob thing anyhow)

Take care, be good -- luv all ya peeps

Absolutely - I'm not bothered about credits - just mentioned it in case it pointed to other events.
