Since yesterday I've been getting this message instead of the standard "Requesting new tasks for CPU".

As a result, I'm not getting new tasks.

I have not changed my preferences and I've checked my account to confirm that, so what has changed?

How can I get back to requesting tasks for my CPU?

Not sure what would have caused this. If you'd been running an old version and BOINC and upgraded, that would explain it, but that wasn't the case.

The only other thing I can think of would be if you had installed a new ATI/AMD video driver that had more capabilities, and BOINC now wants to request video card applications, even though cpdn doesn't have any.

There are options in the optional cc_config.xml file that you can create or modify that would keep boinc from requesting video card apps, but you'd only want to do that if you aren't using the video card processing on other projects.

Thanks for that information. I decided to leave it alone for another 24 hours and see if it corrected itself without my intervention.

It does seem to have corrected itself now!
