I can see from my account listing several WU have been completed since Sept 10 but viewing project status in the boinc client the project has straight lined with nothing reported since the middle of August.
I am also getting more work unit errors than completions, sometimes after running thousands of CPU seconds. Why is this?

Hi Dennis,
https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=8448

Is the thread where the problems with credits have been discussed. I am afraid there is no update from project people since the last post in that thread.

I am a bit surprised looking at the three most recent tasks to fail that they are all, "segment violation" which the project know happens with certain tasks on Linux and Mac machines.

I notice on all these tasks a lot of "suspend request from boinc" messages.
This makes crashing more likely but does not in my opinion account for the number of crashes you have. If under computing preferences, Disk and memory you have "Leave non-GPU tasks in memory while suspended" this tends to improve matters so if that is not ticked it is worth doing so and seeing if it makes a difference.

Another question is has your windows10 done a recent update? I have a vague recollection of some problems with some boinc versions but can't remember the details.

Dennis -

I would also suggest under Options, Computing Preferences, in the "When to Suspend" group, UNCHECK everything.

If there is some reason you think that at times you need your CPU for something more important, there are other ways to accomplish that (like don't let BOINC use all of your CPU cores). If you don't know how to do that, check back here.
