I read on some other threads that new work for Linux was on the way. I've idled my Linux computers from other projects in anticipation of getting new CPDN work. Anyone have any idea how long it will be? Not an exact date, but are we talking like weeks or months? If it's going to be a while I can spin it up with other tasks temporarily. Thanks!

There are likely to be some HADAM4 tasks on testing next week some time. On my machine they take about 5 days. By the time the results have been looked at assuming the tasks succeed it is likely to be the end of next week at the earliest before they progress to the main site. I think somewhere in number crunching Glen posted something about the time scale for OIFS work.

Thanks! And yeah, Jean posted that it would be out in 7 days, but that was almost 4 weeks ago, which is why I was asking. I'm not complaining, and I completely understand the complexities. I'm just trying to manage my devices capacity, so they are ready when they do go out.

Testing showed up some problems, that's why the Linux work has been delayed. There is alot in the pipeline, but I can't give you a date just yet.

Excellent. I'll be moving some compute rigs of mine outdoors this summer so I can run more compute, and I've got more battery bank that should let me run them overnight - so I'm estimating being able to run a couple 3900X systems plus a few older Intel boxes 24/7 on use-it-or-lose-it solar.

I am glad there is a lot in the pipeline for Linux work.
The last work unit I got ended last June.
